A puzzle seems unsolvable

It almost certainly is solvable: the game blocks any move that is not yet provable, so being blocked means a clue was missed rather than that the puzzle is wrong. Press Hint once to see which clues to read, and a second time to see which suspect can be proven. If you still believe there is an error, send us the case number.

I lost my progress

Progress is stored on your device only. Clearing browser data, using private browsing or switching device or browser will start you fresh. We cannot restore it, because we never had a copy.

How the game works

Twenty suspects, each hiding a clue. Open a card by proving whether that person is guilty or innocent; the card then reveals its clue and the chain continues. Every clue is true — criminals tell the truth too.
